As used in this chapter, 'code grabbing device' means a device that is capable of:(1) receiving and recording the code signal sent by the transmitter of:(A) a motor vehicle security alarm system;(B) a motor vehicle automatic door locking system; or(C) a residential or commercial automatic garage door opening system; and(2) disarming:(A) a motor vehicle security alarm system;(B) a motor vehicle automatic door locking system; or(C) a residential or commercial automatic garage door opening system.As added by P.L.302-1995, SEC.1.
