(a) In addition to any criminal penalty imposed for an offense under this chapter, the court shall order the following:(1) That a person who has committed an offense be incarcerated for five (5) consecutive days in an appropriate facility.(2) That the additional five (5) day term must be served within two (2) weeks after the date of sentencing.(b) Notwithstanding IC 35-50-6, a person does not earn good time credit while serving an additional five (5) day term of imprisonment imposed by a court under this section.As added by P.L.140-1994, SEC.12.
