Whenever:(1) there is a dispute concerning the interest in any property of a political subdivision, and the executive considers the dispute not frivolous; or(2) it would facilitate the establishment of title to any property;a deed or other instrument may be executed on behalf of the political subdivision to a person who is eligible to receive the deed or instrument under section 16 of this chapter for any consideration that the disposing agent considers fair and in the public interest.[Pre-Local Government Recodification Citations: 18-4-5-6 part; 19-6-2-38 part.]As added by Acts 1981, P.L.57, SEC.37.
