If the county treasurer is unable to perform the fiscal requirements of the county treasurer's position, the county shall hire or contract with a qualified investment adviser to:(1) provide guidance to the county treasurer regarding the performance of the county treasurer's responsibilities; or(2) perform the county treasurer's fiscal responsibilities.The county treasurer is considered to be unable to perform the fiscal requirements of the county treasurer's position if the county is declared unauditable under IC 5-11-1-9(b).As added by P.L.58-2023, SEC.20.
