(b) The executive may:(1) punish contempt by a fine of not more than three dollars ($3) or by imprisonment for not more than twenty-four (24) hours; and(2) enforce its orders by attachment or other compulsory process.(c) Fines assessed by the executive shall be executed, collected, and paid over in the same manner as other fines.(d) The county sheriff or a county police officer shall attend the meetings of the executive, if requested by the executive, and shall execute its orders.[Pre-Local Government Recodification Citations: 17-1-14-6 part; 17-1-14-10.]As added by Acts 1980, P.L.212, SEC.1.
