§ 36-7-30-15

(b) Negotiations for the purchase of property may be carried on directly by the reuse authority, by its employees, or by expert negotiators, but no option, contract, or understanding relative to the purchase of real property is binding on the reuse authority until approved and accepted by the reuse authority in writing. Payment for the property purchased shall be made when and as directed by the reuse authority but only on delivery of proper instruments conveying the title or interest of the owner to the reuse authority or its designee.(c) The acquisition of real and personal property by the reuse authority under this chapter is not subject to the provisions of IC 5-22, IC 36-1-10.5, or any other statutes governing the purchase of property by public bodies or their agencies.As added by P.L.26-1995, SEC.14.
