If a township is partially within the corporate boundaries of a municipality or is partially within the jurisdictional limits of a municipality, as specified in section 205 of the advisory planning law, it may seek joinder only with that municipality.(b) ADVISORY. If a township is within the jurisdictional limits of two (2) municipalities and one (1) of those municipalities is exercising control within the jurisdictional limit, the township must first seek joinder with that municipality.
