§ 4-1-7-1-1

'Agency' means any agency, authority, board, bureau, commission, committee, department, division, institution, or other similar unit created or established by act or resolution of the general assembly or by the executive order of an officer of the state; 'agency' does not mean a subunit of an agency created by that agency.As added by Acts 1982, P.L.6, SEC.2.
