(a) The department shall prepare specifications under IC 5-22-5 for the purchase by state agencies of products:(1) that meet the reasonable requirements of the state;(2) that are made from recycled materials; and(3) the use of which is technologically and economically feasible.(b) The department shall accept and consider comments from the officers of state agencies in the preparation of the specifications required by this section.As added by P.L.49-1997, SEC.9.
