A person may not, directly or indirectly, give, render, pay, offer, solicit, or accept money, service, or other valuable consideration:(1) for, or in connection with, an appointment, a proposed appointment, a promotion, or a proposed promotion to; or(2) to obtain any advantage in;a position in the state classified service.As added by P.L.229-2011, SEC.56.
