(b) The commission is composed of five (5) members appointed by the governor.(c) No more than three (3) commission members shall be of the same political party. A person who:(1) holds an elected or appointed office of the state;(2) is employed by the state; or(3) is registered as a lobbyist under IC 4-2-7;may not be a member of the commission. The governor shall designate one (1) member of the commission as the chairperson. Each appointment to the commission is for a period of four (4) years. A vacancy shall be filled by the governor for the unexpired term.(d) The inspector general shall provide rooms and staff assistance for the commission.Formerly: Acts 1974, P.L.4, SEC.2.
