'Administrative law judge' refers to:(1) before July 1, 2020, an individual or panel of individuals acting in the capacity of an administrative law judge in a proceeding; and(2) after June 30, 2020:(A) an administrative law judge assigned to preside over a proceeding by the director of the office of administrative law proceedings, if the proceeding is subject to the jurisdiction of the office of administrative law proceedings;(B) a board or commission acting in the capacity of an administrative law judge to preside over a proceeding for the agency; or(C) an individual or panel of individuals acting in the capacity of an administrative law judge in a proceeding, if the proceeding is not subject to the jurisdiction of the office of administrative law proceedings.As added by P.L.18-1986, SEC.1.
