§ 4-23-7-1-1

As used in this chapter:(1) 'Agency' means any state administration, agency, authority, board, bureau, commission, committee, council, department, division, institution, office, service, or other similar body of state government.(2) 'Board' means the Indiana library and historical board established by IC 4-23-7-2.(3) 'Department' means the Indiana library and historical department established by IC 4-23-7-1.(4) 'Director' means director of the Indiana state library.(5) 'Historical bureau' means the Indiana historical bureau established by IC 4-23-7.2-2.(6) 'Public library' has the meaning set forth in IC 36-12-1-5.(7) 'State library' means the Indiana state library established by IC 4-23-7-3.(8) 'Statewide library card program' refers to the program established by section 5.1 of this chapter.As added by Acts 1981, P.L.40, SEC.7.
