2 and the person has had debts to a state agency, the director shall:(1) investigate whether the person has any outstanding debts to a state agency; and(2) submit a letter, within fifteen (15) days after receiving the petition, to the petitioner and the court in which the petition is filed that:(A) references the cause number of the petition to assign a lottery prize payment; and(B) states whether the person has or has not satisfied debts to a state agency.As added by P.L.198-2014, SEC.1.
