1.(b) The administration shall do the following:(1) Establish procedures to retain an original record, document, plat, paper, or instrument-in-writing described in section 1 of this chapter in an electronic format.(2) After the administration has established a procedure described in subdivision (1), establish a period of time after which an original record, document, plat, paper, or instrument-in-writing may be destroyed.(3) Not later than November 1, 2023, prepare and submit a report to the general assembly in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6 regarding the:(A) procedure established under subdivision (1); and(B) period of time established under subdivision (2).This subdivision expires July 1, 2024.As added by P.L.246-2023, SEC.1.
