(b) As part of the investigation, the division shall verify that:(1) a violent crime was committed;(2) the victim was killed or suffered bodily injury as a result of the crime;(3) out-of-pocket expense exceeded one hundred dollars ($100);(4) loss of income exceeded one hundred dollars ($100); and(5) all other requirements of this chapter are met.As added by P.L.47-1993, SEC.2.
