(a) This section applies to surplus computer hardware that is:(1) not usable by a state agency as determined under section 6 of this chapter; and(2) not sold to an educational entity or political subdivision after being offered for sale.(b) The department may donate the surplus computer hardware to an educational entity or a school corporation (as defined by IC 36-1-2-17) or nonpublic schools (as defined in IC 20-18-2-12).As added by P.L.49-1997, SEC.1.
