A purchasing agency may sell property that:(1) has been left in the custody of an officer or employee of a governmental body and has remained unclaimed for more than one (1) year; or(2) belongs to the governmental body but is no longer needed or is unfit for the purpose for which it was intended.As added by P.L.49-1997, SEC.1.
