The individuals designated by the speaker of the house of representatives are the purchasing agents for the house of representatives.(b) Except as provided in subsection (e), the senate is the purchasing agency for the senate. The individuals designated by the president pro tempore of the senate are the purchasing agents for the senate.(c) Except as provided in subsection (e), the legislative services agency is the purchasing agency for an agency under the jurisdiction of the legislative council. The individuals designated by the executive director of the legislative council are the purchasing agents for an agency under the jurisdiction of the legislative council.(d) Except as provided in subsection (e), an agency of the legislative branch not described in subsections (a) through (c) is the purchasing agency for the agency.
