(a) Except as provided in section 6 of this chapter, it is unlawful for a person to sell, dispense, give away, furnish, or supply or serve to a person, an alcoholic beverage, from a container other than the original container in which the liquor was contained at the time it was purchased by the seller, dispenser, giver, or person serving it.(b) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this section commits a Class B misdemeanor.[Pre-1973 Recodification Citation: 7-1-1-33(g).]Formerly: Acts 1973, P.L.55, SEC.1; Acts 1973, P.L.56, SEC.29.
