(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailer permittees may provide directly to consumers free or discounted rides through:(1) taxicabs;(2) transportation network companies (as defined in IC 8-2.1-17-18); or(3) other ride services;for the purpose of furthering public safety.(b) Free or discounted rides may be provided to consumers by vouchers, codes, or any other method to deliver the free or discounted ride. A free or discounted ride, or the provision of a voucher, code, or other method of delivery, may not be conditioned upon the purchase of an alcoholic beverage.As added by P.L.285-2019, SEC.58.
