Section 7 of this chapter shall not affect actions on or proceedings pending on June 30, 1987, brought by or against the people of the state of Indiana or the public service commission of Indiana or by any other person, firm, or corporation, under the provisions of the statutes establishing or conferring power upon the public service commission of Indiana, but the same may be prosecuted and defended with the same effect as though the name of the commission had not been changed, except the same shall be continued and carried on by the Indiana utility regulatory commission.Formerly: Acts 1941, c.101, s.10.
