§ 8-1-13-37

Whenever the commission believes that:(1) any rate or charge may be unreasonable or unjustly discriminatory;(2) any service is inadequate or cannot be obtained; or(3) an investigation of any matter relating to rates or territory for a corporation should be made;it may, on its own motion, conduct an investigation with or without notice.As added by P.L.121-1987, SEC.14.
