As used in this chapter, 'telephone company' means:(1) any natural person, firm, association, corporation, or partnership, owning, leasing, or operating any lines, facilities, or systems used in the furnishing of telephone service; and(2) any common carrier or carrier as those terms are defined in Title IV of the ADA.As added by P.L.75-1991, SEC.1.
