(a) As used in this chapter, 'securitization bonds' means bonds, debentures, notes, certificates of participation, certificates of a beneficial interest, certificates of ownership, or other evidences of indebtedness that:(1) are issued by an electric utility, its successors, or an assignee under a financing order;(2) have a term of not more than twenty (20) years; and(3) are secured by, or payable from, securitization property.(b) If certificates of participation, certificates of a beneficial interest, or certificates of ownership are issued under this chapter, a reference in this chapter to 'principal', 'interest', or 'premium' refers to comparable terms with respect to those certificates.As added by P.L.80-2021, SEC.1.
