(a) The local county road and bridge board may modify a project approved under section 8 of this chapter if:(1) the modification is necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution; and(2) the modifications do not increase the estimated cost determined under section 5(b) of this chapter.(b) Any modification which does not meet the requirements prescribed by subsection (a) must be made by a new resolution that is adopted and approved in the manner provided by sections 5 through 8 of this chapter.As added by Acts 1981, P.L.88, SEC.13.
