In addition to any and all other powers conferred upon it by this chapter, the department is hereby expressly authorized to negotiate with the proper authorities of any such adjoining state, and to contract for and procure the right to build, maintain and operate such bridge upon that part of any site which may be selected therefor and which shall lie within the boundaries of such adjoining state.Formerly: Acts 1927, c.10, s.3.
