The purpose of this chapter is to:(1) promote the public welfare and national security;(2) serve the public interest, convenience, and necessity;(3) promote air navigation and transportation (international, national, state, and local) in and through Indiana;(4) increase air commerce;(5) promote the efficient, safe, and economical handling of air commerce; and(6) assure the inclusion of Indiana in national and international programs of air transportation.As added by P.L.1-1989, SEC.19.
