Except as provided in IC 8-25-4-6, the fiscal body of an eligible county may adopt an ordinance to place on the ballot a local public question granting the fiscal body of the eligible county the authority to fund and carry out a public transportation project. The fiscal body shall include in the ordinance:(1) a description of the public transportation services that will be provided through the proposed public transportation project; and(2) an estimate of each tax necessary to annually fund the public transportation project.As added by P.L.153-2014, SEC.17.
