Except as otherwise provided in section 4 of this chapter, a person may not operate a tractor-mobile home rig on a highway unless the person has a permit to operate the rig from:(1) the Indiana department of transportation; or(2) an agency or a political subdivision of the state designated by the Indiana department of transportation to issue permits.[Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-8-1-7.]As added by P.L.2-1991, SEC.8.
