(b) In addition to the prohibition set forth in subsection (a), a farm wagon (as defined in IC 9-13-2-60(2)) may not be operated on a highway designated as a part of the state highway system under IC 8-23-4-2, except that a farm wagon may cross a state highway, other than a limited access highway, at right angles for the purpose of getting from one (1) farm field to another when the operation can be done safely.
