The following are not liable for loss or damage to a vehicle or parts occurring during the removal or storage of a vehicle or parts under this chapter:(1) A person who owns, leases, or occupies property from which an abandoned vehicle or its contents or parts are removed.(2) A public agency.(3) A towing service.(4) An automobile scrapyard.(5) A storage yard.(6) An agent of a person or entity listed in subdivisions (1) through (5).[Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-9-1.1-11.]As added by P.L.2-1991, SEC.10.
