(b) A motorcycle permit expires one (1) year after the date of issuance. A motorcycle permit may be renewed one (1) time for a period of one (1) year. An individual who does not obtain a motorcycle endorsement under IC 9-24-8.5 before the expiration of the renewed motorcycle permit may not reapply for a new motorcycle permit for a period of one (1) year after the date of expiration of the renewed motorcycle permit.(c) A commercial learner's permit expires one hundred eighty (180) days after the date of issuance.
