(a) As used in this section, 'nondomiciled commercial driver's license' means a commercial driver's license that is issued to an individual who is domiciled:(1) in a foreign country meeting the requirements of 49 CFR 383.23(b)(1); or(2) in another state meeting the requirements of 49 CFR 383.23(b)(2).(b) After December 31, 2017, the bureau shall issue a nondomiciled commercial driver's license in accordance with 49 CFR 383.23 to an individual who:(1) submits a proper application under this article; and(2) meets the requirements of 49 CFR 383.71(f).(c) The bureau may create an application form or other required documents to implement this section.(d) The fee for a nondomiciled commercial driver's license is the same as for a commercial driver's license under section 4 of this chapter.(e) A nondomiciled commercial driver's license is subject to the same restrictions and requirements as a commercial driver's license under this chapter.(f) The bureau may adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 to implement this section.As added by P.L.58-2017, SEC.1.
