(a) The following are immune from civil liability for an act or omission occurring during a motorcycle operator safety education course that results in an injury or property damage:(1) The state of Indiana.(2) A regional training center contracted by the bureau or any other site approved by the commissioner to provide motorcycle driver education and training courses.(3) The owner of a site upon which a motorcycle operator safety education course is conducted.(4) An officer, agent, or employee of a person described in subdivisions (1) through (3).(b) The immunity described in subsection (a) does not apply if the person committed gross negligence or willful or wanton misconduct.As added by P.L.211-2023, SEC.71.
