§ 9-30-14-2

In addition to any other requirement imposed on a person by a court, a court may order a person who is:(1) convicted of a covered offense; or(2) a defendant in a criminal proceeding in which prosecution is conditionally deferred under IC 12-23-5 or another law for a covered offense;to attend a victim impact program that meets the requirements specified under section 3 of this chapter.
