(b) It is an unfair practice for a dealer to sell, exchange, or transfer a rebuilt or salvage vehicle without disclosing in writing to the purchaser, customer, or transferee the fact that the motor vehicle is a rebuilt or salvage vehicle if the dealer knows or should reasonably know before consummating the sale, exchange, or transfer that the motor vehicle is a rebuilt or salvage vehicle.(c) The purchaser, customer, or transferee must sign a written acknowledgment of receipt of the written disclosure described in subsection (b).(d) The division shall prescribe the form of the written disclosure described in subsection (b).As added by P.L.92-2013, SEC.78.
