(a) A person who knowingly or intentionally operates a motor vehicle displaying:(1) an interim license plate issued under section 11 of this chapter that is altered or reproduced; or(2) a license plate that purports to be an interim license plate issued under section 11 of this chapter;commits a Class C misdemeanor.(b) A person that knowingly and with the intent to defraud obtains an altered interim license plate described in subsection (a) commits a Class C misdemeanor.As added by P.L.92-2013, SEC.78.
