10A.303 Workers’ compensation commissioner — appointment. The governor shall appoint, subject to confirmation by the senate, a workers’ compensation commissioner who shall serve at the pleasure of the governor. If the office becomes vacant, the vacancy shall be filled in the same manner as provided for the original appointment. The workers’ compensation commissioner must be a lawyer admitted to practice in this state.
