29C.12 Use of existing facilities. In carrying out the provisions of this chapter, the governor, the director, and the executive officers or governing boards of political subdivisions of the state shall utilize, to the maximum extent practicable, the services, equipment, supplies, and facilities of existing departments, officers, and agencies of the state and of political subdivisions at their respective levels of responsibility.
