30.1 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. 'Committee' means a local emergency planning committee appointed by the department. 2. 'Department' means the department of homeland security and emergency management. 3. 'Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-know Act' means Pub. L. No. 99-499, Tit.
