80.24 Industrial disputes. A peace officer of the department shall not be used or called upon for service within any municipality involving an industrial dispute unless a threat of imminent violence exists, and then only either by order of the governor or on the request of the chief executive officer of the municipality or the sheriff of the county where the threat of imminent violence exists if such request is approved by the governor.
