81.5 Civil and criminal liability — limitation. A person who collects a DNA sample shall not be civilly or criminally liable for the collection of the DNA sample if the person performs the person’s duties in good faith and in a reasonable manner according to generally accepted medical practices or in accordance with the procedures set out in the administrative rules of the department of public safety adopted pursuant to section 81.4. 2005 Acts, ch 158, §5, 19
