99E.10 Civil penalty. A person who willfully fails to comply with the requirements of this chapter and the rules adopted pursuant to chapter 17A under this chapter shall be liable for a civil penalty of not more than one thousand dollars for each violation, not to exceed ten thousand dollars for violations arising out of the same transaction or occurrence, which shall accrue to the state and may be recovered in a civil action. 2019 Acts, ch 132, §35, 45, 46
