123.8 Duties of commission. 1. The commission, in addition to the duties specifically enumerated in this chapter, shall act as a policy-making body under this chapter and serve in an advisory capacity to the director and department. 2. The commission may review and affirm, reverse, or amend all actions of the director under this chapter, including but not limited to the following instances: a. Purchases of alcoholic liquor for resale by the department. b. The establishment of wholesale prices of alcoholic liquor.
