156.5 Removal technicians. The board shall adopt rules pursuant to chapter 17A to allow a funeral director, without first assuming custody of human remains, to delegate to a removal technician the ability to perform a removal regardless of whether the funeral director is present. The board shall consider the prerequisites for registration, including any required training that the removal technician shall complete prior to performing a removal. 2023 Acts, ch 21, §2 NEW section
