341A.1 Definitions. As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. 'Commission' means the civil service commission or a combined county civil service commission created pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. 2. 'Commissioner' means a member of the commission defined in subsection 1. 3. 'County' means a single county or several counties combined for the purposes enumerated in section 341A.3.
