357.24 Fee of engineer. The fee for engineering services shall be fixed by the board of supervisors and the engineer may be paid either a percentage or a per diem from proceeds of the bond sale or by cash from the contractor, if the contractor takes bonds in settlement for the contractor’s work under the contract.
