358.39 Claims prosecuted against city. Suits to enforce claims or demands existing at the time of the conveyance, discontinuance and assumption may be prosecuted or brought against the city which assumes the obligations of the sanitary district, and judgments obtained shall be paid as provided in section 358.38 for the payment of the indebtedness.
