159.3 Cooperation. 1. The department and the Iowa state university of science and technology shall cooperate in all ways that may be beneficial to the agricultural interests of the state, but without duplicating research or educational work conducted by the university. This section does not subordinate either the department or the university in their spheres of action. 2. The department may cooperate with the United States department of agriculture as the department deems wise and just.
